Abstract: 
IEEE 802.11n – the emerging Wireless LAN technology.  The focus of this presentation will cover the emerging standard, its applicability and importance in Wireless LAN solutions.  The presentation will also cover the broader area of Wireless LAN and aspects of deployment, security, ease of use, performance, and discuss some of the wireless challenges.

Speaker Bio:

Pratik Mehta is Dell’s Wireless Technologist.  He has served Dell in this capacity for 7+ years and covers several wireless technology areas, and develops Dell’s wireless technology strategy.  Active in industry and standards, Pratik has served in IEEE, Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, WiMedia, Wireless USB forums.  Before joining Dell Pratik was an architect at AMD in Austin, prior to which he worked at National Instruments.  Pratik holds MSEE and MBA degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and St. Edward’s University, respectively.
